Default Leaning

Say you have a staff or a spear and your outside and just standing around. You would think that you would want to lean on something so why not lean on a staff or spear. My idea is to have /lean.

Ok, one word... why?

Surely if you get tired of standing that's what the /sit emote is for?

Also, isn't it a bit axe-ist? You can't lean on an axe. It's too short. Axe warriors will be sad.

My bow would snap.

And I'd hate to think what assassins would do.

Sounds like a pretty good idea maybe other commands could be discussed and arenanet consider the top 5 or ten for the future either here or gw2

Axemen are big tought and strong they don't need to lean and they could always lean on a shield or just get a longer axe, if they where feeling a bit of a wimp.

Assassins could have twirl dagger menacingly instead, in any case plenty of walls or trees to lean on.

But that is messed up then, you should at least let the assasins set their daggers in teh upright position and let them lean on it (or stack and lean). But then if they mess up they dance around for a little while clutching their captain's quarters

Lean? You mean... like in first person shooters?
Hm... to be able to fire from behind a wall, still covered by the wall?

Won't it b a bit unfair?

What the hell is going on in Sardelac these days?

/lean?
/r for /resign?
2 hrs playtime a day?

Was there a "let's be mindless train" and did I miss it?

What's with the negative attitude? Looking at your logic, what use do ANY of the other emotes have? None whatsoever. They're for fun. Same as this would be. Fun. Get off your high horse.

You poor thing. Then you'd have to chuck your infinite supply of arrows at enemies.

There could be a different emote depending on what weapon you have, instead of it being exclusively "lean" it could be "/weapon" For most weapons you'd be able to lean, but for others you'd have to have some kind of alternate movement.

Another option would be to have people with axes kneel down and lean on the handle of their axe. Have dagger weilders throw both of their daggers into the ground and hop up onto the handles and balance there. For people with a wand, same with axe. I don't know.
